The Most Dangerous Man in the World: An Interview with Buzz Dixon

Part I

If you grew up watching GI Joe in the 1980s, you saw Buzz Dixon’s name on a lot of those episodes. He wrote some of the most memorable stories for the series and today Bret, Jamie and Andrew discuss another great story THE MOST DANGEROUS MAN IN THE WORLD. A story Buzz had written as a definitive origin about the man who founded Cobra. The ruthless terrorist organization determined to rule the world. Sadly, his vision never made it to the air. However, in 2016 he published an ebook of his original script. Which gave fans a glimpse at what could have been. And incidentally, what was a better story than what fans got in 1986.

In part one of the interview, Buzz discusses his memories of coming up with the episode as well as writing the ebook of it. And other memories of both his time as a writer and how his time in the military helped influence the way he approached his writing on a series like GI Joe.

By the end, you’ll know all about the Most Dangerous Man In The World. And knowing is half the battle.
