In Construction Apart from Destruction Scott breaks down the meaning behind one of the most prescient quotes from writer and environmentalist Wendell Berry in order to discover the inner meaning behind the concepts that demonstrate for us why we need to get beyond our simplistic consumerism and how we may benefit from doing so.  An exercise he performed recently with a group of high school students in Vermont.
