Thanksgiving 2020

“When Abraham Lincoln created our modern variation of Thanksgiving, he did so during our terrible civil war, a conflagration of both war and words and at its heart a continuation of the conflict of ideas that persists to our time; what is the Unites States, for whom is the United States For, for what purpose or common cause will we move forward together?
‘We have been called to heal wounds, to unite what has fallen apart, and to bring home those who have lost their way’.  So said St. Francis of Assisi.
This thanksgiving perhaps it is required of us to be more than grateful for each other and for what we have within our household.
Consider gratitude for the opportunity to reach beyond our own needs to what could be. All of us, together building and loving and reaching for better understanding of one another.
I thank everyone involved in M the Media Project, our podcasts, our new opportunity known as Worc-It Business Labs and the many communities that like all of us at SMG, are working. And seeking.  And loving.”
