We start off Episode 14 recounting the discourse of our fair city’s February 1 City Council meeting in which Ward 3 City Councilor Nathan Boudreau stood up for the citizens of Ward 3, nearly 15 or more of which have experienced the ‘high’ quality of Gardner’s drinking water.

Our former Politica co-host Scott J. Graves was un-characteristically quiet during this week’s meeting.  That didn’t stop him as contributing writer to M the Media Project.

The focus of our conversation centered around the weaponization of various phenomenon around us these days.  A volatile mix of toxic individualism and politicization has resulted in everything from the events of January 6, 2021 to the misuse of public information laws and character assassination at the local level through social media.

With that in mind we’re launching an initiative we’re calling M The Media Project. This is a service of SMGraves Associates and over the months and years ahead we’re hoping to experiment with a variety of mediums, financial models and service delivery methods to deliver important news to a regional audience. 

It is our hope that we will create successful media services companies, incubated right here in central Massachusetts that have the potential of becoming replicable.
